CodeIT Innovation Wins HK-dir Grant for the Event on UA–NO Trauma Recovery Exchange in 2027

CodeIT Innovation AS has been awarded NOK 198,750 from the Norwegian Directorate for Higher Education and Skills under the Ukraine Competence Programme (UA-KOMP). Competition was strong: 97 applications sought a combined NOK 18.7 million, with about 29% of the requested amount available for distribution.

The grant will fund the Ukraine–Norway Exchange on Psychological Rehabilitation 2027, a roundtable seminar in Bergen in 2027. It will bring leading Ukrainian rehabilitation organisations together with Norwegian expertise in mental health, health-tech and trauma research.

The project is co-organised with Youwell AS, the Bergen-based company developing and delivering digital health services, with the Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce (NUCC) as information partner.

The Ukrainian participants are Superhumans Center, NGO Free Choice, EMDR Ukraine, NGO Human Recovery Lab and Lubart Suprovid - the patronage service of the 20th Lubart Brigade.

On the Norwegian side, Youwell will take part, and Norwegian health and research institutions will be invited.

The results of the event will include a bilingual summary report, a partner contact directory and recommendations for further cooperation.

“Norway has stood by Ukraine throughout the war, and at this seminar representatives of Ukraine’s psychological rehabilitation community will share their hard-won experience with Norwegian experts. As an IT company, we want to help turn this knowledge into digital solutions that reach more people, with the support of our coorganizer Youwell. I am proud that CodeIT Innovation is making this possible, and I believe the partnerships that grow out of it will last. It is another step in our continuous support for Ukraine,” - says Ivanna Martyniv, Project Lead, CodeIT Innovation.

The grant is one more step in CodeIT Innovation’s work to connect Norwegian and Ukrainian expertise.

Preparations for the seminar start now, including finalising the programme, inviting Norwegian health and research institutions, and planning the visit of the Ukrainian speakers.

We will share updates as the project moves forward. Organisations that would like to take part are welcome to get in touch: ivanna.martyniv[@]codeit-innovation.com.
