Hardware Constraints: The interface had to function on large screens within production facilities—specifically landscape-oriented displays that do not support vertical scrolling.
Brand Consistency: The new design needed to be innovative while strictly aligning with the client’s existing product portfolio.
Global Logistics: The project required seamless integration with distributed teams across Canada, Norway, and Vietnam, navigating significant time zone differences.

The client needed a fresh design for a new OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) solution for the food industry. The project faced three main hurdles:

What we delivered

Create a fresh design while maintaining consistency with the client's existing product portfolio. Our designers delivered on this with precision, combining innovation with brand alignment to support a cohesive user experience across platforms.
The solution was intended to be displayed on large screens installed within production facilities. These screens are landscape-oriented and don't support vertical scrolling. The design team carefully considered physical display constraints and accessibility for on-site users.
Our designers seamlessly integrated into a globally distributed workflow. Despite the significant time zone differences, our team efficiently handled late calls and aligned schedules to ensure smooth collaboration. Our designers quickly became a natural extension of the client’s teams. Their open, proactive approach contributed to a friendly working atmosphere.
